Fact from "Creatures and beast of the known World" : The Basilisk, are a close releative to the mighty dragons that rules the skies, probebly decendents from the same ancestors. But unlicke its noble and maginificent cousins the basilsk are vile creatures, that brings death to almost al mortal creatures they encounter on there travels.
And above all the Basilisk king are the most vile.
Its Glare has been told to burn grass lands,kill trees,posion waters,kill cattels,crack stones and kill humans as well. Its cruelty dont end there, no. caus the big fel reptile also has a wenomes breath and it spews its develish posion upon all it sees.
It also enjoys feed on human flesh, especily weman and children whos sweet flesh it swallows in a frenzy of blood.
These evil beings msut be killed on sight by all rightgoues men of the wotrld and all who is caught breeding these monsters shall suffer severe punishments.

Real Fact: The king Basilisk are a free roaming reptile of the southern lands, n these lush jungels these great serpent like creatures are considerd sacred by the ancient race that resides there. Only the males has the crest and they form a life long couple with one single female, if anny whould die the other will never seek a new mate. They dont look after there eggs, as soon theya re laid they are left. tha basilisk has the magic ability to fire unseen beams from its eyes that kills its prey.

You know, some say that you can tell the nature of a creature by its eyes. And all I see in this one is a proud chivalrous beast.

...Which really contradicts the description and the whole general nature of a malicious basilisk.

If you want to make a creature look more evil, I'd say you need more angry >: ( lines.
I don't know. It's just something about the face and posture that makes it look more good than evil.

They say one was dwelling under Warsaw.

I recently saw a book about Warsaw insurgents and SS team who are looking for Basilisk in sewers (insurgents has to prepare evacuation route from city, SS wants to use him for experiments).

wow great but where is the avian charctistics, or is this inperd by the orginal basilisk wich was just a snake with a diadam (or little white spot, or crown)?
